Weʻre all taught what beautiful looks like in stories and songs growing up, but the first time I actually felt it was when I put on a necklace and looked in the mirror. I felt complete - which can sound strange when youʻre speaking of a simple piece of jewelry. But it made me feel like I was a princess and I wondered if I could feel the same wearing different types of pieces.
I was around five years old and I never stopped making jewelry. From childhood bead sets, to making braided bracelets and going door-to-door to sell them, to college side-hustle and studio practice.. to small business.
It made me who I am today.
The 14k gold-filled collection focuses on positive attributes in our lives that we should focus on with an emphasis on the mahina (moon) because weʻre full no matter what phase weʻre in.
Inspired by Hawaiʻi and its natural elements, animals, culture, & history, future collections will be either sterling silver, gold vermeil, and solid gold using the ancient lost-wax casting method. These pieces will showcase the untouched beauty that should remain just that..untouched.
Even though the world feeds off of chaos, thereʻs still hope.
     Aloha will heal the world.
